I have spent the last 10 years as project manager/technical director of an online software company specializing in data analytics and marketing. I worked as part of a cross-functional team with sales managers, web developers, server managers, and data scientists. Together we built a custom, online-based interface for clients to track their advertising effectiveness by collecting their customers’ media preferences.
Before that, I spent 7 years as a studio manager and head web designer at a graphic design firm in Santa Barbara where we worked with several Santa Ynez-based wineries. In addition to designing collateral and building web sites, I also interviewed and hired people. I also oversaw and maintained the company web server.
I am detail oriented and have outstanding problem-solving skills. I can manage multiple projects with separate requirements, time lines, and resource constraints. I am also experienced in managing both a creative and/or technical staff. I have expert knowledge of both Mac and PC platforms and am well versed in both Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
I have been asked to wear many hats in the business world. Having degrees in both design and psychology gives me the unique ability to understand and help people, and the ability to interpret and explain technical jargon to the non-technical. I’ve spent considerable time assisting both coworkers and clients with all matters of support. My strongest attribute is the ability to listen, learn, and perform quickly and accurately on whatever task that is given to me.
